• You sign in with a working email and a 6-digit code — there’s no password.
• Your circle is mutual and capped at three. A connection forms only when both people accept.
• You’re responsible for the lines you record and send.

Don’t use within to harass, threaten, or send unlawful content. Don’t record people where doing so without their knowledge is illegal. Don’t try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service. It’s a small, quiet place — treat the people in it that way.

Lines are deleted when they’re heard, and unheard lines disappear after 30 days. within is not storage — please don’t rely on it to keep anything you’d be sad to lose.

Your voice lines are yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store a line and deliver it to the one person you sent it to — nothing more, and not a moment longer than the rules above allow.

within is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may add, change, or pause features, and we can’t promise the service will never be interrupted. The status page shows how it’s doing right now.

We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or the people on it. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

To the fullest extent the law allows, within is provided without warranties and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of it.

You must be at least 13, or the age of digital consent where you live. If these terms change we’ll update the date above, and continued use means you accept them. Questions? Email hello@withinline.com.
